200 frames of clay madness goodness. Thats about 13 and a half seconds! Woo :P!
I just began to think about my movies and frontpage, and awards. I dunno why I started thinking about it, but yesterday I kinda began to wish my movies would get front page and maybe an award once in a while, I've worked hard these past 2 years in making sure I make good movies for Newgrounds. And I wish I could get more publicity here on NG, even though claymation really is only popular by artists like Knox. I just hope that sometime in the near future I'll be able to get a front page spot or award, I've gotten decent scores for over a year so far and sometimes even when I look at the front page the scores are worse than mine. Probably just the movies favored by Tom get on front page, that's the thing though. I doubt Tom has seen any one of my claymations besides "Pico: Clayman's Nightmare" which he featured on front page on Pico Day (thanks again, Tom). I just really which I could get more publicity here on NG, as well as other fellow clay animators on NG like BlakTornado, Sonikaos, and Vdub. I just had to tell all that to someone, thanks for listening whoever you are :).
Clock Day was a good success! I'm kinda starting to wish I had prepared something for it, but that'll be gone once I feature my submission for Madness Day :). Madness Day has always been on my top 3 favorite series, next to Another Day and Knoxs Klay World. I just hope I can get enough white and grey clay to make the figures by then :). The plan is to make a complete remake of the original madness combat, but with clay and a different plot (it'll still be the same killing with the same music, but with different figures). Anyway, back to clock day! Things went great, my brother even submitted something for it. Go to crotchmonkey.newgrounds.com to check it out. Also, my new film using my camcorder should be released by tomorrow, so keep an eye out!
AND IT SUCKS! I'm going back to using my webcam! Hah, just kidding. It's awesome! The quality is so much better than my old webcam, I can't wait to start animating with it! Oh yeah, and if any of you guys get the chance, go check out my brother's first audio mix, it's really good for a remix of the song of storms from Zelda!
I finally did it, I've got enough cash for my new 5.1 megapixel Digital Camcorder! I'm heading out to WalMart in a couple of hours to get it, I checked a store locater on their website to see if they have it in stock in the store that I'm going to, and they have it! Everything has been finalized, it's an awesome camcorder, and for added dramatic pause, HERE is a picture of what the video quality looks like :).
BIG NEWS YALLZ. Pretty soon I will be using Stop Motion Pro to make my claymations instead of ImageStudio, BUT THATS NOT ALL! I'm about $30 away from a DIGITAL CAMCORDER which I will be using to film my claymations from now on! New camera, new program, NEW FUN FUN FUN!
BIG NEWS HERE, FOLKS. I will be voice acting in BlakTornado's future full length movie! He said it will most likely be released in 2008, but it's still gonna be awesome. BlakTornado is a great claymator, so it's quite an honor to be in his movie! W00!
If some of you may know, I submitted two versions of the muffins movie. Well, A lot of people were complaining about the exploding effect to I decided to delete the RE version and replace it with my old version but with a better explosion. I'll submit later in the day.
My buddy BlakTornado has just submitted a new short, check it out HERE if you get the chance, it's REALLY good! Probably my favorite submission by him!
It rocks, doesn't it? I just wanted to say that :).
